Contest Rules & Dates:
- MUST send us a picture of your ‘Ugly Furnace’.
- MUST like our J&A Heating & Plumbing Facebook page J&A Heating and Plumbing.
- MUST share our post for the ‘Ugly Furnace’ contest.
- If you did not complete these three steps you will not be considered for the contest.
- The contest opens on November 1st, 2022.
- Entries must be in by December 15th, 2022.
- The Winner will be selected on December 16th, 2022.
- Each submission (*one per house hold) will be submitted into our randomized draw selection.
- J&A Heating & Plumbing employees will each cast their vote for the “Ugliest Furnace” on December 15th, 2022. Each vote for the furnace will give that particular contestant a BONUS x 3 Entry into the draw (4 total).
- The randomized draw will be selected on December 16th, 2022.
- Dustin Born our General Manager will attend the residence between December 19th – 23rd, 2022, to verify that the furnace meets all qualifications. From there we will proceed with an install date.
- The winner will be announced on our Facebook page on December 25th, 2022.
THE FURNACE CONTEST GUIDELINES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- The winner must reside in Saskatoon (or within 25km, of Saskatoon)
- The replacement furnace’s estimated retail value shall not exceed $5,000. In the event the winner would like to upgrade the installation to a higher efficiency furnace, the credit of the replacement unit will be applied.
- Standard installation of this replacement unit shall include reconnecting to the existing duct system, currently installed on the property, and connecting to the existing gas supply (all of which are also currently installed). If substantial changes to the ducting are required additional costs may be incurred.
- The existing furnace (that is entered in the contest) must be installed and fully operational at the time of replacement.
- The installation does not include air conditioner components.
- J&A Heating & Plumbing will not be responsible for any major code upgrades required for the installation of the new furnace.
- Any electrical code upgrades in the home will need to be done by a licensed electrician at the expense of the homeowner.
- The new Daikin High-Efficiency Natural Gas furnace comes with a 12-year manufacturer parts warranty and an optional a 12 year labour warranty.
- The winner agrees to provide a testimonial of the experience with a photograph of the equipment installed.
